Arcana of Paradise —The Tower— is a real-time card battle game developed by 株式会社タストα. The game is set in The Tower, an endless mystery that challenges players with new enemies and puzzles on every floor. In the game, players choose from 20 children, each with their own starting cards and passive traits, and battle against The Tower's bizarre inhabitants in real-time. To survive, players must time their guards, combo their attacks, charge up powerful magic, and collect legendary relics in their search for food, as they guide the children to the bottom.
The game's real-time card battles require players to think fast and react to what the enemies throw at them. Players can turn their cards (and some enemies!) on their heads or deal a new hand if they don't have what they need. The game features 70+ powerful tarot-inspired cards and 20+ melancholic and striking songs in its soundtrack. The game also offers endless replayability continuing after the main story, with a tonne of bizarre, tarot-inspired enemies, unlockable upgrades for the home commune, and puzzling trials waiting to be overcome.
